Japanese Fair Brings a Breathtaking Lantern Release to California

The OC Japan Fair arrives in California with 250 incredible booths, live performances, and a mesmerizing lantern release.

If you’re a fan of anime, sushi, karaoke, or anything else that celebrates Japan, we’ve got exciting news for you! From April 4th to 6th, the OC Japan Fair will be landing in California, bringing the very best of Japanese culture with over 250 booths filled with incredible surprises.

Lantern Release Ceremony

Take part in a truly magical moment. Watch as a countdown leads to the release of beautiful LED-lit lanterns filled with helium, which float gracefully like balloons. Safely tethered with ropes and weights, these lanterns will create a captivating sight in the sky. And the best part? Each participant gets to take home their very own lantern as a souvenir from this unforgettable night.

Ticket Pricing

  • Early Bird (until February 28th): $12
  • March 1st to April 3rd: $15
  • April 4th onwards: $18

Free entry for children under 6 and seniors over 65.
Online tickets grant entry on any event day but cannot be used for multiple days.

Tickets are limited and may sell out quickly. Since entry is cash-only, we recommend getting your tickets online ahead of time.
