The hurricane has made history this Friday morning with winds of 200 mph as of Friday at 4 am PDT according to the National Hurricane Center, which makes Patricia the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Western Hemisphere.
Due to its extremely strong winds, Patricia has the potential for creating catastrophic destruction in the Mexican Jalisco state, between Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta, this according to NHCs projected path this morning.

Mexican authorities have already warned and evacuated more than 50 thousand residents in the states of Jalisco, Colima and Nayarit and temporal shelters have already been set up with the capacity for approximately 258 thousand people.
Authorities have also warned people to stay indoors and away from the coasts and mudslides and to watch out for flying debris and falling trees and billboards.
Patricias moisture will also contribute to a flood threat in the south of Texas once it touches Mexico.
