Baja California’s Secretariat of Tourism and the 25th City Hall of Ensenada invite locals and tourists to experience Gran Carnaval de Ensenada 2025, which will take place from February 27 to March 4. This grand carnival will feature a diverse program full of musical performances, traditional activities, and competitions.
Activities at Grand Carnaval de Ensenada 2025 will be as follows:
- February 27: Burning of Bad Mood Ceremony
- February 28: Coronation of the Carnival
- March 3: Showcase of regional and local talent
- March 4: Carnival troupes and floats competition and award ceremony
The artistic program will include performances by the following artists: Los Ángeles Azules on February 27, Banda El Recodo on February 28, Matute on March 1, and Ana Bárbara on March 4.

Tourism service providers and the public at large have been informed about road closures and traffic disruptions during the scheduled parades.
- Saturday, March 1: The parade along Blvd. Costero, scheduled for 5:30 PM will require the use of alternate routes.
- Sunday, March 2: Starting at 11:30 PM, Blvd. Costero will be closed to traffic. The parade will begin at 12:00 PM, spanning from Calle Macheros to Playa Hermosa. From 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, access to the cruise terminal for tourism vehicles will be restricted. After the event, Rotario and Castillo streets will be reopened for taxi and tour operator traffic.
- Tuesday, March 4: Blvd. Costero will close at 1:30 PM, with the parade starting at 2:00 PM along the same route. From 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, access to the cruise terminal for tourism vehicles will be restricted. Once the event concludes, Rotario and Castillo streets will be reopened for tourism transportation.
