Baja Californian Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda held a meeting with the Secretary of the Navy, Admiral Raymundo Pedro Morales Ángeles, during which they carried out a strategic visit to the Punta Colonet Port, one of the most important projects for the state’s economic and logistical development.
During the visit, the governor emphasized that promoting Punta Colonet represents a significant opportunity to create jobs, boost international trade, and position Baja California as a key hub in Pacific maritime connectivity. She highlighted that this effort is made possible through the close collaboration between state and federal governments.
Governor Marina del Pilar thanked the support of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who has demonstrated her commitment to the region’s economic development, as well as the backing of the Secretary of the Navy and all federal forces, which are working in coordination with Baja California to bring this project to fruition.
The Punta Colonet Port is a key component of the infrastructure and sustainable growth strategy being promoted by the government of Baja California. Its development aims to strengthen supply chains, attract new investments, and enhance the state’s competitiveness in global trade.
