Outlook: All eyes are on the Lancers. And they should be. Hilltop is the two-time league defending champion and once again is considered a powerhouse among South Bay teams. The Lancers can also be a threat against other county teams as coach Ortiz's squad has earned respect the last couple of seasons. The team is led by Wolfe, who is considered one of San Diego's top players. Her skill set and talents tend to bring out the best from her teammates as they thank her for the leadership she adds to the team. The Lancers won their bracket in the Barons Tournament and finished runner up in the top bracket of the Mustang Cup. Expect Hilltop to make a deep playoff run this season.
