The tours—lasting 4 to 5 hours with an average cost of $700 pesos ($34 USD) per person—travel through areas such as Punta Banda, San Miguel Beach, and Islas Todos Santos. During the experience, tourists can also enjoy bird watching, dolphins, and the beauty of the ocean. It is recommended to dress warmly to make the most of this activity.
Additionally, visitors are encouraged to use boats certified by the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT), which comply with established whale watching regulations. These ships guarantee a safe and responsible experience, minimizing the impact on marine ecosystems and ensuring respect for wildlife during whale watching.

This event was attended by Marco Antonio Carrillo Maza, Director of Proturismo Ensenada; Archaeologist Julia Bendímez Patterson, Director of the Caracol Science Museum; Denise Lubinsky Jinich, President of the Research and Conservation Department of Mamíferos Marinos de Ensenada, A.C. (ICMME, A.C.); and Oceanographer Perla Marlene Mendoza Moreno, Representative of the Port of Ensenada’s Tourist Vessels.
