It was recently announced that Baja California is a finalist in six categories of the prestigious event promoted by the magazine “México Desconocido.”
Thanks to its stunning beaches and vineyards, enchanting landscapes, and delicious gastronomy, multiple locations in Baja California have stood out among Mexico’s diverse tourist destinations.

It should be noted that this awards ceremony is organized in collaboration with the Secretariat of Tourism, which recognizes the qualities, beauty, tradition, and attractions of Mexico’s tourist destinations.
The categories in which Baja California is nominated are:
- Best Beach to Discover in 2025: Rosarito
- Best City to Celebrate a Wedding: Ensenada
- Best Traditional Dish: Puerto Nuevo
- Best Gastronomic Route: Ruta del Vino (Wine Route)
- Best Wildlife Encounter Experience: Whale Watching
- Best State to Discover by Road: Baja California
