A total of 26 new cadets, aiming to join the Municipal Public Safety Directorate (DSPM) in Mexicali, have begun their training at the Police Training and Education Center (CENFOCAP).
The Academic Office of the Deputy Director of the Mexicali Municipal Police, led by Agustín Ortega, welcomed in Tecate 13 men and 13 women who aim to become part of the security forces in the state capital.

On February 10, the 26 cadets began their six-month training, which will allow them to become new DSPM officers and contribute to prevention and security efforts in the Mexicali community.
Representing Mayor Norma Alicia Bustamante Martínez of Mexicali and Municipal Public Security Director, Luis Felipe Chan Baltazar, the academic deputy director welcomed and encouraged the young people who decided to serve and protect the residents of Mexicali.

Agustín Ortega underscored that it is always admirable to have individuals interested in joining a police force to ensure the safety of citizens, prioritizing others’ lives and well-being. For this purpose, they are already receiving the necessary training and preparation.
For the DSPM, it is of great importance to have young people committed to protecting and serving society. Those interested in joining this vocation are encouraged to learn about the requirements to join the Mexicali Municipal Police Force and be part of this profession of great social responsibility.
