The 25th City Hall of Tijuana has begun pre-registration for “Emprendimiento Sin Límites” (Unlimited Entrepreneurship). This initiative aims to foster the creation, development, and consolidation of projects and it is one of Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana’s main priorities.

“Emprendimiento Sin Límites”, promoted by the Municipal Youth Institute (IMJUV) which is led by Alondra Miroslava Vargas González, seeks to support the local youth economy, allowing them to start businesses and create jobs that improve their quality of life.

Vargas González announced that the call will soon be published on the IMJUV website and social media platforms. It is aimed at people aged 12 to 29 who wish to start their own ventures and those who are interested can already complete their pre-registration.

The municipal official stated that pre-registration will remain open until February 24. People interested should visit the institute’s social media pages on Facebook: Instituto Municipal para la Juventud IMJUV and Instagram: @tijuanaimjuv to access a QR code and fill out a form.

Alondra Miroslava Vargas urged young people to keep an eye on the Municipal Youth Institute’s social media channels for the call’s official publication, where they can review the full guidelines and requirements.

“An organizing committee will be in charge of the evaluation and final selection of the 200 beneficiaries, who will receive financial support ranging from 4,000 to 15,000 pesos, depending on the business plan they present. Selection will be based on a thorough analysis of the information provided, considering the socioeconomic study, the project’s viability, and the stage of the entrepreneurial venture,” said the head of the institute.

The Municipal Youth Institute reaffirmed its commitment to empowering young people to achieve their dreams through actions that create a real impact in their daily lives. This is why those who wish to start a business or already have one will have the necessary tools to grow.

Mayor Ismael Burgueño of Tijuana’s administration works every day to develop public policies and actions that contribute to the development of young people and help them excel in various aspects of their life.
