An extraordinary City Hall session in Playas de Rosarito approved the first project package under the “Programa Normal” (PRON-2025) for the urban restoration of the iconic Popotla Boulevard, with an investment exceeding 28 million pesos.

Mayor Rocio Adame Muñoz of Rosarito emphasized that this initiative aims to strengthen the Artisan District that extends along Popotla Boulevard, promoting the talent of local artists and creating a modern and inclusive space—which will include a bicycle lane—spanning from KM 30+600 to 32+400 of the Tijuana-Ensenada Free Highway.

Additionally, an investment of 4,257,000 pesos, taken from the Used Foreign Vehicle Regularization Program, was approved for the hydraulic concrete paving of Culiacán Street, between Sonora and Chilpancingo Streets, in the Ampliación Lucio Blanco neighborhood.
