Baja Californian Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda met with National Bank of Public Works and Services (Banobras) officials to analyze and discuss projects promoted by the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
At this meeting with Banobras Director, Jorge Mendoza Sánchez, the governor emphasized the importance of this collaboration as it will strengthen infrastructure and help to complete more projects to benefit the population.
“In our state, we already have a housing plan that has become a national example. As such, this synergy with the Federal Government is key to continuing moving forward and guaranteeing that the people who need it the most have more opportunities to have access to adequate housing,” she explained.

The State Housing Plan, promoted by the governor, seeks to guarantee the right to a proper home, promoting orderly growth with the support from municipalities, society, and businesses. Its goal is to offer accessible homes, strengthening families’ security and well-being.
Additionally, thanks to this project, single mothers’ quality of life is prioritized through Vivienda Violeta, which includes delivering over 30,000 homes as part of the 100,000 actions that will be carried out during this administration.
“Adequate housing is not a privilege; it is a right. In Baja California, we are working to ensure more families have a safe and permanent home,” Governor Marina del Pilar stated.
