To generate 72 megawatts, Mexico Power Group has invested $150 million dollars to start installing a wind farm in the Rumorosa area, part of the Tecate municipality, with this, "Baja California consolidates itself as a pioneer in wind energy," said Governor Francisco "Kiko" Vega de Lamadrid during the announcement.
"The governor is committed to not letting any investment opportunity that will provide further development to Baja California and its people pass by, while focusing on the environment and following the Law, such was the case with this proposal, goals that also coincide with the state government, the mayors and Mexico Power Group," the state governor emphasized.
