On our first edition of "Baja California Dreaming" we focus on the renowned Chef’s history
Baja California’s gastronomy is the center of international attention lately and that is mostly thanks to Chef Javier Plascencia.
His main goal is to make a gastronomic destination of this region and, for that, he has dedicated his life to promoting a unique cuisine based on local products.
In this first edition of “Baja California Dreaming” writer of the Street Gourmet LA blog, Bill Esparza, interviews the famous Chef as well as taking a little tour through three of the Plascencia family’s restaurants starting in the iconic Caesar’s on Revolution Avenue followed by Giuseppis, Mexico’s first pizza parlor and culminating with a visit to Misión 19 that since its opening just a few months ago has been in the spotlight for its unique and edgy style.
