A jewel of diversity

ENSENADA, BC.- A window to paradise, a perfect oasis, a date with tranquility, learning and enjoyment; that is how Cuatro Cuatros can be defined, another vineyard of the Guadalupe Valley’s Wine Route.
Guarded by the desert, 1800 acres open their gates for an intense experience where glamour meets the countryside.
Located at the kilometer 89 of the toll-free Federal Highway Tijuana-Ensenada and right by the El Tigre village, this vineyard is a thematic and touristic property in development.
It is not a common vinery, right from the start it surprises you with a circular arrangement leaving behind myths regarding position, latitude and sun light when cultivating vine grapes; one of the fields is even near the ocean, surrounded by sea breeze day and night.
In the 40 acres designated for the vines, Cuatro Cuatros offers four options: Sauvignon Blanc, located in front of the Pacific Ocean; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo; all of them are sure to delight your palate.
Walking on their fields mean instant peace, serenity, traveling to an enchanted place of natural richness that grows with every step you take.
The safety of their guests will always be a main concern of Cuatro Cuatros, just the moment you arrive somebody from the staff will ask all visitors to identify themselves for the protection of the clients already hosted there.
Once inside, the adventure starts when a couple of iconic ship replicas greet you from far away; the one resembling Noah’s Arc is perfect for the first picture of your journey to the vineyard.
Behind these artistic expressions of history you’ll find a restaurant where your palate will be delighted by orgasmic experiences you wouldn’t have imagined thanks to the flavor of Oaxaca and other Mexican cuisines.
Right there, practically outdoors and enjoying the view while you taste the wine, you’ll be able to admire the work of talented Mexican artists with a selection of pieces arranged on the walls for your viewing pleasure.
The comfort of the restaurant, besides its dishes, lies in its decoration, a fusion of modern and rural with a touch of originality using the area’s flora as a centerpiece.
On the other hand, its minimalistic wine and beverages bar reminds guests that sometimes glamour isn’t necessary if you have good taste.
From there the tour can move to the cabins, a concept already functioning in front of the vineyards; 12 totally equipped cottages, all of them immersed in nature plus 14 on the making to be located in front of the San Miguel stream, among the olive gardens.
